What is Mini Golf?
Mini Golf is a free nine-hole crazy-golf course played from above. You drag back from the ball to set the direction and power of your putt, exactly like pulling back a putter, and release to hit it. The ball bounces off the course walls and the obstacle blocks, so most holes are designed to be solved with a bank shot rather than a straight line. Your score is total shots across the round, so lower is better.

- 1Press on the ball and drag backwards to aim - the guide line shows where it will go.
- 2The further you drag, the more power the shot has.
- 3Release to putt.
- 4The ball rebounds off the outer walls and the wooden blocks on the green.
- 5Sink it in the cup to move on. Finish all nine holes in as few shots as you can.
Mini Golf tips and strategy
- Use the walls. Most holes past the first are built so the direct line is blocked, and the intended solution is a bank shot off a side wall.
- Ease off the power near the cup. A ball travelling too fast rims out instead of dropping, which costs you the shot and usually leaves a worse position.
- Aim at the wall, not at the cup, when banking. Pick the point on the wall where the reflected angle runs to the hole, then aim there.
- A safe two-shot hole beats a risky one-shot attempt. Blasting at the cup from distance usually ends with the ball in a corner.

How do you aim in mini golf?
Drag backwards from the ball in the opposite direction to the shot you want, like pulling back a catapult. The length of the drag sets the power and the angle sets the direction, and a dotted guide line previews the path.
Why does my ball bounce out of the hole?
Because it arrived too fast. A putt above a certain speed rims out rather than dropping, which is deliberate - it stops every hole being solved by hitting the cup as hard as possible from the tee.
What is a good mini golf score?
Total par across the nine holes is 33, so anything at or under that is a strong round. Individual holes range from par 2 to par 5 depending on how many walls sit between the tee and the cup.
How do you do a bank shot?
Pick the spot on the wall where a ball bouncing off at an equal and opposite angle would run to the cup, then aim at that spot rather than at the hole. Most holes on the course are designed around exactly this shot.
