Can I buy Pixels on Plixoo?
Not at the moment. Pixel purchases are not open, and no payment of any kind can be made on the site. Every Pixel currently in circulation was earned by playing games for free.
Why can't I buy Pixels yet?
Because your balance is stored in your own browser rather than on a server. That is acceptable for Pixels you earned in five minutes and unacceptable for Pixels you paid for - clearing your browser data would delete them with no way to restore them. Purchases stay closed until Plixoo has accounts with server-side balances.
How much will Pixels cost?
The planned packs start at 100 Pixels for $0.99 and scale up to 2,600 Pixels for $19.99, with larger packs including bonus Pixels. These prices are indicative and may change before purchases open.
Do I need to buy Pixels to use everything on Plixoo?
No, and that is by design. Every game is free, and every item in the Pixel Shop can be bought with Pixels earned by playing. Nothing in the shop affects gameplay, so a paying player would never have an advantage over one who does not pay.
Are Pixels refundable or worth real money?
Pixels have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred between players. They are an in-site cosmetic currency only.
